About the Speaker: James C. Paul has been providing practical and understandable guidance, advice and support to clients for more than 35 years, including employers, plan sponsors and fiduciaries who maintain and administer qualified pension and profit sharing plans, welfare plans, nonqualified plans, executive compensation and other benefit programs. From 401(k) plan compliance and corrections to executive compensation, due diligence and counseling employers on benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions, Jim has done almost everything in the employee benefits arena. His extensive experience includes counseling employers on design, compliance and operation of qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, welfare plans and stock-based compensation plans. Jim also counsels clients on fiduciary issues and has experience in fiduciary litigation.
