ASPPA is looking for presenters for its upcoming 2024 conference, which will be held Oct. 20-23 in Orlando, Florida.
The speaker nomination process enables individuals to nominate themselves or others, focusing on identifying expertise areas and selecting topics from a provided list. ASPPA encourages nominees to describe how they will introduce new perspectives and engage the audience in dynamic discussions. ASPPA describes the process for speaker nomination below:
Nomination Process
- Nomination: Open to self-nominations or recommending others.
- Area of Expertise: Specify your specialization (DC, DB, or business operations).
- Topic Selection: Choose up to three relevant topics from a provided list.
- Background Sharing: Detail your professional expertise and experience.
- Innovative Perspectives: Explain how you plan to offer fresh insights.
- Audience Engagement: Share strategies for interactive and engaging discussions.
ASPPA President Amanda Iverson highlighted the importance of this year's speaker call, the first in many years. "I'm excited we are doing a call for speakers this year for the first time in a long time. I have no doubt many extraordinary industry professionals will submit ideas that will help continue to make ASPPA Annual the best industry conference for TPAs," Iverson said.
The deadline for speaker nominations is Friday, March 8. Although not all nominees will become speakers, ASPPA guarantees consideration of all submissions for future speaking or volunteer roles.
