ASPPA is developing a new blueprint for the ASPPA QKA® & QKS™ exam, and we need your help! This is an opportunity for ASPPA credentialed members to provide input that will help in identifying what the examination should address.
The knowledge and skills necessary for competent practice in the profession must be determined before the exam is developed. The process for doing that is a practice analysis, which serves as a blueprint for examination development. That practice analysis is guided by a panel of subject matter experts who are representative and knowledgeable in the field.
Where Credentialed Members Come in
One of the most important features of the practice analysis is a comprehensive survey sent to all ASPPA credentialed members to help verify the major domains of practice that lead to the development of the examination content outline. The new blueprint must account for both unique individual experiences and collective judgments of the field.
ASPPA credentialed members can best contribute to the QKA® & QKS™ Examination by helping with this important project.
ACS Ventures will send an email invitation to participate in an online ASPPA exam blueprint survey. ACS Ventures specializes in creating exams for professional certifications, licenses, as well as educational institutions. And ACS Ventures employs an advanced survey system that generates personalized links, guaranteeing the anonymity of responses.
The survey, which should take about 10 minutes to complete, asks respondents to indicate the importance of various topic area options they experience as a retirement plan professional. Responses to the survey are needed by April 10.
