About the Speaker:
Andrew Remo is the Director of Legislative Affairs for the American Retirement Association (ARA), an organization of more than 25,000 members nationwide who provide consulting and administrative services to millions of American workers, savers, and the sponsors of retirement plans. The ARA has two key missions: to educate and inform retirement benefits professionals and to advocate for policies that give every working American the ability to have a comfortable retirement. Before joining the ARA in September 2012, Andrew worked as a staff member for US Senator Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD) and was responsible for various policy portfolios, including tax and retirement issues. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Government and a Master of Business Administration from the Johns Hopkins University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the American University.
